Lutron Connect Bridge will support Apple HomeKit, allowing owners to control their Lutron systems using the Apple Home application, Siri or third-party HomeKit applications on their iPhone or iPad. Controlling lights in rooms or specific areas will be a very simple task. For example, just before going to bed, tell Siri to “turn off the lights” and turn off the lights throughout the house. Not sure if the kitchen light is still on? Ask Siri to check it and, if so, turn it off. Integration with Apple HomeKit allows owners to control lights and shadows through Siri.
With the Lutron Connect application, users can select up to 150 Lutron devices (lights and blinds) to be controlled through the Apple Home application, third-party HomeKit applications or Siri.

The Home app helps you safely control all your compatible accessories with HomeKit. If you’re at home, ask Siri to turn off the lights from the iPhone or see who knocks on the iPad. And if you’re out, you can have control of your house with the Apple TV. This app makes sure that the connected systems of your home make your life easier.

Use the Home app to configure and control all your compatible accessories from the same site. More than 50 manufacturers around the world are developing accessories that work with HomeKit, and every day you have more at your disposal.

As the Home app groups the accessories by room, you can control the systems of each space with a simple touch. You can even tell Siri things like “Turn off the bedroom lights” or “Turn on the heating on the top floor.” And with 3D Touch technology, you can even dim the lights or regulate the thermostat.

The Home app allows you to create environments with combinations of accessories that work at the same time when you give the order. For example, you can activate the “Leave home” environment to turn off the lights, close the door and lower the thermostat.
In your house you send. Wherever you are.
The Home app allows you to remotely access all your smart accessories through your Apple TV or iPad. You can do exactly the same as when you’re at home: from closing the garage door or see who calls through the video door entry to ask Siri to lower the thermostat.
